THE DURANT NEWCOMERS' CLUB CONSTITUTION

ARTICLE I - NAME

The name of the organiziation shall be "The Durant Newcomers' Club."

ARTICLE II - OBJECT

The object of this organization shall be to help woman new to the community to become acquainted and involved within the community.

ARTICLE III - OFFICERS

Section 1. The elected oficers shall be President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian-Parlamentarian.
Section 2. The elcted officers shall constitute the Executive Committee.
Section 3. At least one of the elected officers shall have lived in the community not more than the five preceeding years.

ARTICLE IV - MEMBERSHIP

Membership shall be open to all women of the community regardless of length of residence.

ARTICLE V - MEETINGS

The regular meetings of this organization shall be the first Thursday of every month.

ARTICLE VI - AMENDMENTS

This constitution may be at any regular business meeting by a majority show of hands of members present, provided they have had a notice of the proposed amendment at least one meeting previous to the time action is to be taken.
